Recipe for Weight Loss:

~A Recipe for Weight Loss~

Ingredients:

- Written goals
- Accountablity
- A plan.
- Drink water.
- Eat clean & often.
- Exercise 4-5 times/week.
-Calculate your BMR & burn more calories than you consume.

Preparation:

Once you have decided to make your lifestyle change simply write down your specific goals. Be sure to date them. Once you have completed this step share your goals with others to hold you accountable. Now that you know what you are after write out what steps you will take to change your daily schedule. Don't forget your water! Drink a minimum of half your weight in ounces of water. This will keep you properly hydrated. Eat clean foods by staying on the outside aisles of the grocery store & staying away from processed foods. This will help keep your blood sugar levels down & burn more fat. Exercise 4-5 times a week at high intensity levels or if you enjoy running keep your cross training a priority.  Be sure to push yourself. Pain equals gain in exercise. Slow & steady aerobic workouts will not burn as many calories as interval training. Muscle confusion is what you should be looking for at this point. Caloric intake is key in weight loss. You must burn more than you consume. Click here to calculate your daily calorie needs. There are multiple apps & websites to log your calories each day. I will post these at the bottom of this page. The last thing you need to be sure to have before making a lifestyle change is a determined attitude. A no excuse kind of mindset. Remember this isn't one of those 30 minute recipes that Rachael Ray shares... more of a week per pound (or 2) recipe. Stay focused. Don't let satan attack you. He only pours out lies. Pour yourself into Christ.  Remember you are fearfully & wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). The best part of the recipe is coming to realization at the end of each day that no matter what the scale says you are beautiful. Keep pressing on toward the goal & you will master the recipe for a healthy weight.

Enjoy!
