Turn It Around.

Carefully guard your thoughts

because they are the source

of true life.

Proverbs 4:23

Instead of saying:
I'm too tired.
My legs are KILLING me.
I want to just stop running, I think I might get sick.
I feel like all I do is change dirty diapers.
It's not worth it.
I can't go on.
It's impossible.
I hate when my husband goes on a trip for work.
My house is a mess.
I feel alone.
Nobody really loves me.
I just can't do it.

SAY:
At least I am not bored! He will give me rest. (Claim it: Matt 11:28-30)
It feels good to be sore & know my body is changing for the GOOD!
I might get sick working hard but at least I got off the couch today!
I am so glad I don't have to pay someone to change my son's diapers!!
It WILL be worth it. (Claim it: Romans 8:28)
I CAN go on. His grace is sufficient. (Claim it: 2 Corin 12:9 & Psalm 91:15)
I am so thankful my husband has a job to support our family!
All things are impossible with God. (Claim it: Luke 18:27)
My house might be messy but so thankful we have a place we call home.
God says He will never leave me nor forsake me. (Claim it: Hebrews 13:5)
God says, "I love you." (Claim it: John 3:34)
You can do ALL things. (Claim it: Phil 4:13)

Today's Tip: Have a negative thought? Challenge yourself to learn how to turn it around! Write it down, memorize it, & it will become apart of you!

*See last night's run here

You ARE worth it today!

  1. Sarah, what a great post! So much of our victory or failure takes place in out mind and starts with a thought. Our sunday school class is going through the book, "Loving God with all your mind", by ELizabeth George. It has been wonderful and has really helped in the area of thinking on TRUTH. You might want to check it out.
