Keep on keepin on!

9And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.

Galatians 6:9

Keep on keepin on. This is what I had to tell myself today before & during my run today. I went to bed not feeling great with a stomach ache & the same this morning. I really didn't want to get out there today to be perfectly honest. I wanted that satisfied feeling you get after a hard workout without the workout.... you would think I'd figure that out by now, especially as  a trainer! ha! As I contemplated on if it was too hot? Should I go to the treadmill & battle Jace's attentions span? Or do I just suck it up & go for the hill outside in the heat? I finally went for going outside w/Jace & the jogging stroller. We loaded up & battled that nasty hill.

One thing I noticed during my workout was my negative thinking. It was a constant battle until I took my last step to the house. I stopped for a drink of water a few extra times today because of the heat. I have gotten dehydrated out in AZ before & I really don't want to experience that again.

All of these battles in my mind remind me of all the other areas of my life we tend to battle positive thinking. I love how fitness relates so much to the perspective in life. That is one reason why I will encourage my kids to be active. It teaches you more than just the game: It teaches you about life. If you haven't noticed already from all my tweets & facebook status' I love Joyce Meyer. I wanted to share a great article with you on how to keep on keepin on in everyday life battles.

"Whatever you may be facing or experiencing in your life right now, I want to encourage you to stay positive and refuse to give up! God is with you, and He’ll help you make spiritual progress—strengthening and encouraging you to keep on keeping on during rough times. It's easy to quit, but it takes faith to press on to victory."

I choose to keep on keepin on in my training & in my life, everyday! I refuse to make one more excuse! It's a choice!

*Today I am thankful for my no swivel Jeep Jogging Stroller w/built in ipod: See here.
*Don't forget about Monday's Favorite Things give-a-way! Be sure to get in it to win it!

Today's 2nd Tip: If you are running on side streets without a running trail be sure to run against traffic! Especially if you like to run with your ipod!

Get running & refuse to give up!
